Nathaniel has lived and worked in Singapore since 1996. He is certified as a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI) and as Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) by the Disaster Recovery Institute International. He has been President of the Singapore Computer Society’s Business Continuity Group, and President of the Asia Council of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), a professional association that administers the worldwide Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) program.
His plenary talk, “Water & Emergencies: The Impact of Thirst” was one of the highest rated talks ever given at the World Conference on Disaster Management (WCDM) in 2010. Clips of that talk appear on YouTube.

Nisar Khan has 13 years of professional career, with 10 years of experience in managing Corporate Business Continuity programs at Regulatory,conventional and Islamic banks. Previously he functioned as a BC/DR Manager for a consultancy firm, delivering end-to-end BCM programs and training to leading companies.
